The Chairman of Temidire Community, Joseph Oguntominiyi, has appealed to the government to rehabilitate the road linking the community to Papa Aloba, describing its condition as a major concern.
He said a letter requesting government assistance had been submitted, but no response had been received.
Oguntominiyi said “he had made personal efforts, alongside community members, to improve some roads”.
He added that “drainage had been constructed, solar lights installed for security, a faulty transformer replaced, and a vigilante service established to strengthen security”.
He stressed that “government intervention on the road, particularly the stretch from beneath the overhead bridge to Papa Aloba, remained the community’s major need”.
