Public affairs analyst, Comrade Joel Afolayan has expressed his disappointment in the Nigerian National Assembly, following the Bill passed by the United States House Of Representatives seeking to impose visa restrictions and freeze assets belonging to former Kano State governor Rabiu Kwankwaso, the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association, over severe violations of religious freedom.
He disclosed this on the Diamond Breakfast show, noting that if the Nigerian National Assembly will not stop the killings in Nigeria, then the US House Of Representatives should step in, stressing that a person cannot give what he doesn’t have.
While urging the National Assembly to always take proactive measures regarding matters of security, Comrade Afolayan noted that those who can make intellectual contribution in the National Assembly are in the minority, adding that issues get approved swiftly when the majority agrees.
