The Kwara G 15 of All Progressives Congress (APC), Elders Forum and other stakeholders has vowed to give maximum support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu re-election but counter Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq and his supporters.

This was affirmed at the town hall engagement with critical stakeholders which can be considered as a twist in the State APC crisis held in Ilorin today.

The group which has transformed in to a movement changed its name to “The Otoge Progressives” to indicate that it is beyond individual ambition but future progress of the State of Harmony as stated by the leaders.

The motion for total support for the re- election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was moved by Senator Lola Ashiru and supported by Hon. Mohammed while that of the name was moved by Senator Sadiq Umar and supported by Senator Saliu Mustapha.

Earlier before addressing the press conference by Senator Yahaya Oloriegbe, the spokesman of Kwara APC Elders Forum, Salman Jawondo (SAN) explained the need for all the stakeholders across the 193 wards of the State to mandate their leaders to rescue the State from emerging dictatorship and dynasty.

Majority of the members of G 15 and their followers turned out en mass at the event that took place at Arca Santa Arena, Ilorin.
