The Hon. Member representing Irepodun State Constituency of Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Odetundun Olushola has resigned from the party.

In his resignation letter dated August 20, 2026 made available to Diamond FM, Ilorin addressed to the APC Ward Chairman, Ajasse Ward 2, Irepodun Local Government, Kwara State, Hon. Odetundun stated “that after careful consultations with political stakeholders, supporters, friends and most importantly the people I have privilege to represent, I have decided to formally resign my membership of All Progressives Congress (APC).”

He anchored his decision on a deep thought of recent happenings within the party making him reassess his political direction in the interest of his constituents.

He added that while his political platform may change, his commitment to public service, principles, values and dedication to his Irepodun State Constituency and Kwara State remains.
