Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke on Wednesday departed for Abuja ahead of the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress 2027 Presidential Campaign Council.

A video circulating on X showed the governor walking with his protocol team towards a private jet expected to take him to the Federal Capital Territory. The inauguration is scheduled to take place at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Adeleke was recently appointed Osun State coordinator of the campaign council for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid, placing him among party officials expected to mobilise support for the president.

The event is expected to formally set the campaign council in motion as the APC intensifies preparations for the 2027 general election.
