The Nigeria national football team, Super Eagles, left Lagos for Cote d’Ivoire on Wednesday.
They would be taking part in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in the country.
Members of the team were dressed in native attires, and they wore white kaftans with green caps which represent Nigeria’s national colours.
Recall that Morocco football team, Atlas Lions had on Saturday arrived in Cote d’Ivoire and they are the first team to get to the country apart from the host nation ahead of the 2023 CAF Africa Cup of Nations which is scheduled to begin on Saturday, January 13.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state had held a dinner in honour of the Super Eagles players on Tuesday.
