The Anambra State Government has urged voters in the state not to support Nigeria Democratic Congress presidential candidate Peter Obi in the 2027 general election, accusing him of working agains the interests of the All Progressives Grand Alliance.
The call was made on Monday through the official X account managed by Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s New Media office.
The government alleged that Obi had worked to undermine APGA since 2014, while claiming that President Bola Tinubu had stood by the party.
Reacting, NDC Director of New Media and Strategic Communications Theo Abu Agada accused the Soludo administration of being threatened by Obi’s growing popularity, insisting that the party would win convincingly in Anambra.
