Nigerian superstar confirmed that the concert scheduled to be held at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on September 6, has been cancelled.

However, the reason for the cancellation has not been disclosed, while the organisers assured ticket buyers of an automatic refund within five to eight days.

“Unfortunately, this event has been cancelled. The Asake “In God We Trust” show at The Greek Theatre on Sunday, September 6th, 2026 has been cancelled,” the notification reads.

“You will receive a refund back to your card used for payment within 5 business days. Please allow a further 2-3 days for the refund to credit to your account. No action is required on your part.”

The cancellation has, however, sparked several reactions online, with some users claiming the singer cancelled the concert over low ticket sales, while others countered that the tickets were almost sold out before the cancellation.

The tour, which began in July, was scheduled to stop in 13 cities, including major stops in London, Paris, Atlanta, Toronto, Houston, and Miami.
