Former Chelsea midfielder, Claude Makelele, has named England midfielder Jude Bellingham as the player that should win the 2024 Ballon d’Or award.

Makelele described the Real Madrid star as a ‘great footballer’, adding that the 20-year-old is amazing.

The Frenchman stated this in a recent rapid-fire session with GOAL.

Bellingham has been a revelation for Real Madrid since joining the Los Blancos from Borussia Dortmund.

He scored 23 goals and provided 13 assists across 42 games for Carlo Ancelotti’s side in his debut campaign.
