
The Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Bishop Matthew Kukah is calling for the questioning of people who claim close ties with bandits, while also calling on the Federal Government to be decisive in dealing with insecurity ravaging the northern regions of the country.
The Bishop made this statement this in an interview with news men in Rivers State, stressing on the Federal Government’s lack of interrogation of individuals claiming close ties with bandits.
Recall that, the cleric offered to dialogue with bandits who abducted about 287 schoolchildren in Kaduna
The Bishop stressing that there should be more collaborations between security agencies and people with knowledge of the situation, re-echoing the government’s capacity to approach offenders.
