Most Senior Special Apostle Dr. Gabriel Olayinka Kassim, JP has been confirmed as the 7th Substantive Spiritual Father/Chairman of the church Worldwide.

His appointment was ratified at an extraordinary Baba Aladura-in- Council meeting of the church held today at its International headquarters, Galilee, Orile-Igbon Oyo State with Members of the Board of Trustees, Management Team, Chairmen and Senior Secretaries of the various Districts, women, youth and children leaders were in attendance.

Following the death of the former leader, His Eminence Emmanuel Abiodun Adewale Alogbo on July 30, 2026, Kassim was appointed as Acting Spiritual Father/ Chairman in his replacement by the Board of Trustees in August 2026.

The new Spiritual Father is a distinguished Minister of God, accomplished healthcare professional and exemplary leader whose life has been devoted to Christian service, Spiritual Leadership and the advancement of Cherubim & Seraphim Worldwide.

Since 1985, he has served as the Chairman of the Church United States of America sub-conference. Before relocating to the U. S. A. in 1972, he served in various capacities in Christendom. He was Assistant Pastor of the Church in Bronx, U. S. A. (1978-1982), Leader in Charge and Senior Pastor (1982-1997). He was ordained an Apostle in 1988, Senior Apostle in 1993, Most Senior Apostle 1996, Most Senior Special Apostle 2001.
