The Governor of Ondo State, LUCKY AIYEDATIWA, has dissolved the State Executive Council.

The governor also relieved all Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants of their duties.

In a statement released today by his Chief Press Secretary, EBENEZER ADENIYAN, governor AIYEDATIWA said the development would take immediate effect.

Mr, AIYEDATIWA, formerly Ondo Deputy Governor, was sworn in as the substantive governor of the South-West state on the 27th of December, 2023, after surviving an impeachment plot by allies of former Governor- late ROTIMI AKEREDOLU, in the Ondo State House of Assembly when the ex-governor was ill.
