The Kwara State House of Assembly has confirmed Miss Musa Nafeesah Buge of Baruten Local Government as a Commissioner in the State Executive Council.
After the screening, she was asked to take a bow and leave and was later confirmed as commissioner, haven contributed immensely to the victory of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the last general elections.
Speaker of the Kwara state house of Assembly, Engineer Yakubu Danlad-Salihu therefore directed the Clerk of the House, Alhaji Abdul-kareem Olayiwola Ahmed to forward a notice of the confirmation to the Governor.
Also, the lawmaker representing Odo-Ogun Constituency, Honourable Musa Atoyebi of the APC, returned for second term as he was sworn-in today following his triumph at the appeal court where he was declared winner of this year’s State Assembly election over Otunba Taiwo Afolabi, who was initially declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
