The Kwara State Roads Fund and Administration Bill Twenty Twenty-Three (2023) has been passed by the Kwara State of House of Assembly
In this bill, the State Roads funds and Administration Agency will be established for the purpose of funding, management, planning, development, rehabilitation reconstruction, and maintenance of class C and D roads in the State
The bill was read the third time by the Clerk of the House, Alhaji Abdul-kareem Olayiwola Ahmed, and passed sequel to the consideration of the Report presented by the House Committee on Works and Transport on the State Roads Fund and Administration, chaired by Waheed Gbenga representing Eesa Sawo-Igbodun Constituency during today’s plenary
Speaker of the house, Engineer Yakubu Danlad-Salihu therefore directed the Clerk of the House, Alhaji Abdul-kareem Olayiwola Ahmed to produce a clean copy of the bill for the Governor’s assent.
