For the first time this season, Super Eagles and Atalanta forward, Ademola Lookman, has been nominated for the Serie A Player of the Month for April.

The 26-year-old was one of the key performers for Atalanta in the month under review, registering a goal and three assists for his club in the month.

Gian Piero Gasperini’s side are battling to secure a place in the UEFA Champions League next season, as they are already in the final of Coppa Italia and semi-final of the UEFA Europa League.

Lookman will look to defeat Lazio ‘s Luis Alberto, Genoa star Albert Gudmundsson, Paulo Dybala of AS Roma, Napoli winger Matteo Politano and Inter Milan’s Hakan Calhanoglu to win the award.
