In a bid to confront the mounting challenges of insecurity, violence and other social vices penetrating various communities in the state, The Kwara State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Commandant Umar Mohammed has commissioned a new divisional office in Ipee town, Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
During the unveiling of the new division, Commandant Umar stated that the recent rise in security challenges in the state necessitated upgrading the outpost to a fully operational divisional office to address insecurity more effectively.
He praised the contributions of the project’s financier, Deputy Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Honorable Olayiwola Oyebode, and the dedicated residents of the Ipee community for their unwavering commitment and support in ensuring the timely completion of the remarkable project.
Commandant Umar however urged members of the community to remain vigilant, and actively support the Corps by providing credible and timely information to enhance its operational capacity.
