The newly promoted 416 officers of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kwara State Command have been decorated and charged to embrace their new ranks with a heightened sense of duty and accountability.
The State Commandant of the NSCDC- Dr. Umar Mohammed, gave the charge at the decoration ceremony held on Thursday (24th October, 2024) at the Command’s Headquarters in Ilorin.
“I charge you to redouble your efforts in the bid to actualize the mandate of the Corps” says Commandant Mohammed.
According to a statement released to DiamondFM by the Spokesperson of the Command, Ayoola Shola, “the newly promoted officers includes: (21) Deputy Commandant of Corps, (10) Assistant Commandant of Corps, (13) Chief Superintendent of Corps, (48) Superintendent of Corps, (129) Deputy Superintendent of Corps, (127) Assistant Superintendent of Corps I, and (68) Assistant Superintendent of Corps II.”
The Kwara NSCDC Commandant also expressed his gratitude to the Honourable Minister of Interior, Hon. Tunji Ojo, and the Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Audi, for magnanimously approving a significant number of promotion in recognition of their hard work and commitment to service.
Speaking on behalf of the newly promoted officers, Augustine Eramhaenze acknowledged with gratitude the divine favor that has led to their promotion to higher ranks, assuring that they would earnestly strive to fulfill their responsibilities with diligence and dedication.
