
CANDIDATE of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Ondo State, Chief Agboola Ajayi, has promised to tackle the insecurity in the state, if elected.
Ajayi made the promise during his campaign tour of Ifedore and Idanre local government areas of the state.
He vowed to fortify the state’s security apparatus, Amotekun, promising robust measures to effectively curb criminal activities and ensure the safety of all citizens.
On education, Ajayi said he would make primary and secondary education free, and ensure a 30 per cent reduction in all tertiary education fees to make higher education more accessible and affordable.
On Agriculture, Ajayi pledged provision of soft loans and the implementation of modernized preservative techniques, aimed at enhancing productivity and safeguarding farm produce.
These initiatives, according to him “are poised to revive the agricultural sector. Meanwhile, the Director-General of the Agboola Ajayi Campaign Council, Dr Eddy Olafeso, has asked the electorate to collect any inducement offered to them but vote according to their conscience, saying: “Collect money, if offered by APC and then vote them out of power.” the agricultural sector, driving economic growth and sustainability.
Monarchs from the council areas extended their royal blessings to the candidate and his deputy, Hon. Festus Akingbaso.

Meanwhile, the Director-General of the Agboola Ajayi Campaign Council, Dr Eddy Olafeso, has asked the electorate to collect any inducement offered to them but vote according to their conscience, saying: “Collect money, if offered by APC and then vote them out of power.”
