Austria head coach, Ralf Rangnick, has confirmed he will not be the next manager of Bayern Munich.

This is according to a statement released via the Austrian Football Association Website earlier today, stating that his focus is on the national team and the Euros.

Recall that Rangnick had been in talks with the former Bundesliga champions and a deal was thought to be close.

The 65-year-old’s decision leaves Bayern still in the market for their next manager with Bayer Leverkusen’s Xabi Alonso also turning the Bavarian club down.
