The Presidency on Monday dismissed the insinuations of a rift between President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.

Shettima’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communications, Stanley Nkwocha, said the Vice President is a “colossal member” of Tinubu’s administration who enjoys the “total confidence and full support” of the President. and further stated thatreports of the alleged rift were false, stressing that the Vice President is loyal.

In a statement he issued to mark the Vice President’s 58th birthday, Nkwocha said claims of the Vice President being sidelined in Tinubu’s administration were “illogical conspiracy theories”.
